Mammajamma!

I’ve been tattooing for 15 years, with the past 13 years at Modern Age Tattoos. I started my apprenticeship in Jersey and worked at that shop for 2 years. I learned the basics of tattooing, which included needle making, color mixing, and machine maintenance. I was able to get return customers and referrals after a short period of time. After leaving there, I found Modern Age in Nanuet and started working on a part-time basis. With Robert’s help, I was able to build up speed, confidence, and improved my tattooing. It felt less of a “job” and was able to grow as a tattoo artist. I gradually grew a decent clientele, began working full time and have been enjoying it ever since. I have a bachelor’s degree in illustration from Parson’s School of Design which comes in handy when creating custom work. I specialize in black and gray portraits, and love detailed work. But regardless if it’s custom, something brought in, or the most simple of designs, I will give it 100% because I know that it means something special to the client.
